Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial is an innovative way to quickly, safely and comfortably remove sun and age spots from the face, chest, arms, and hands without gel or anesthetic cream. The light energy is absorbed by abnormal melanin accumulation in the skin while the normal skin melanin is left intact by surface cooling. The signs of sun damage will flake off after one to two treatments spaced one month apart, leaving clear, younger looking skin.

Laser Genesis Skin Therapy treats other conditions typically associated with premature aging and skin damage, such as excessive redness, large pores, uneven textures, fine line wrinkles. The laser energy is absorbed by the superficial capillary loops in the skin. The body responds by laying down new collagen fibers over the next 8 weeks. There is a warm sensation during treatment similar to being near an open fire. Afterwards, there is some redness for a couple of hours. Four to six treatments two weeks apart are generally needed.

Laser Hair Reduction
FDA-approved for permanent hair reduction, our laser can treat men and women of all skin colors safely and effectively without having to reduce the laser power for fear of causing hyperpigmentation and other side-effects. Even patients with a suntan can be treated. Patients are generally happy after three treatments 6 weeks apart. This is timed to coincide with the active growth phase of most hair follicles, during which the laser is effective. The Coolglide laser is set at 1064 nm which is ideal to target hair follicles unlike earlier generation lasers.
The handpiece cools as it glides on the skin. When the energy is delivered, patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. Some patients prefer topical anesthetic when sensitive areas such as the bikini line is treated.

Laser Vein Therapy
Because of advanced vein laser treatments, painful injections (sclerotherapy) are now a thing of the past. Both tiny superficial facial veins and deeper blue leg veins on men and women of all skin tones can now be safely and effectively treated. The laser energy is absorbed by the hemoglobin in the red blood cells which heats up the vein while the skin surface is unaffected. The body then absorbs the vein over the next few weeks.

TITAN Skin Tightening
Introducing Titan, the first light-based non-surgical procedure that can tighten skin to treat lax skin or other signs of “sagging” Skin tightening without surgery is the Holy Grail of cosmetic surgery. Recently the first device that has received FDA approval for this application is Thermage. This uses radiofrequency to nonselectively heat subcutaneous tissue. There have been good results but some patients have ended up looking worse. Titan is a revolutionary light-based device and the physics of light is such that it is easier to control and the results are more predictable.

The skin contraction leads to lifting of the eyebrows and/or improvement of lower face and neck skin laxity. Titan has also been used successfully in the abdomen, arms and thighs. Two to three treatments one month apart are usually needed. Immediate improvement is usually noted in the vast majority of patients and continues to improve over the following two months. The degree of discomfort is quite low, to the point of needing no anesthesia, unlike Thermage. Patients experience a stinging sensation with some of the pulses. There is mild skin redness visible in treated areas which disappears in a few hours.
