Dr. Truong received his Medical Degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He finished his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Chicago graduating in the 97th percentile. He then completed additional specialty training with a Fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Truong's Fellowship is approved by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, a member of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.

Dr. Truong’s focus is in Ophthalmic Plastic and Facial Aesthetic Surgery, specializing in procedures such as Laser Skin Resurfacing, Chemical Peel/Skin Care, Dermabrasion/Scar Revision, IPL Photofacial, Laser Hair Removal, Titan Skin Tightening, Botox, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra, Juvederm, Upper and lower lid Blepharoplasty, Brow lifts, Implants (Cheek, Chin and lip), Facelifts and Neck Liposuction. Faces! has an on-site AAAHC-certified surgical facility for patients' convenience.

Over the course of his surgical career Dr. Truong has performed successful cosmetic procedures on thousands. Dr Truong has been practicing Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Eye Plastic Surgery in Fresno since 2001.
