Dear Theresa,
My lids are healing very well. I don't look too different, just better, more bright-eyed. Some patients have come up to me to ask how come they don't look as good as me. Well I was very diligent with the ice compress and with the Arnica and Bromelain. Some patients had ptosis surgery which involves tightening the muscle that lifts the eyelid as well as skin removal while I only had the skin removal.
Many of you know Reena, our esthetician. She had one session of fractional CO2 resurfacing on the face, neck and decollete. last week. Check out her photos below.

We did the procedure on Reena Simone our esthetician last week. The face was treated this time. We had previously treated her neck and decollete area. She did not miss a day of work. A week later, there is faint redness on her skin on the cheeks. There is noticeable improvement in the smoothness and texture of her skin.
"My skin is almost flawless now, make-up goes on smoother... I am thrilled!"
We are planning on two additional treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

M.V. told me she has been taking this evening class with a gentleman friend for some time. I did her eyes recently which turned out wonderful (see photo above). So she showed up in class after a couple of weeks and the gentleman friend kept looking at her. Finally he comes up to her and said: "Are you related to M...?" She had to explain that it was really her.
I was injecting some Botox in the crow's feet area on another patient and happened to notice her beautiful long lashes. I said: "Wow, your lashes are amazing!" She smiled and said: "Ever since you got me started on Latisse, my lashes are like on steroids..."

It is normal to have some facial asymmetry
We all have a side of the face that is slightly larger than the other and one eye slightly more open than the other. If you ever see a picture montage where half the face is duplicated exactly in a mirror image fashion it looks rather creepy.
Consequently a certain amount of asymmetry is expected after surgery, after eyelid lifts for instance. If you look closely, two of the most beautiful women in the world have a big eye on one side and a smaller one on the other side. It does not matter, Cindy Crawford and Michelle Pfeiffer are still gorgeous in my book.
