As seen on The Doctor's Show, CBS Early Show, Extra: the first non-invasive body contouring procedure to effectively remove excess fat.
This technology is the Holy Grail of plastic surgery: painless, non-invasive shrinking of subcutaeous fat. This laser triggers a transient channel in the fat cell membrane which allows the fat to leak into the space between cells. The lymphatic system then collects the fat which comes back to the liver where it is oxidized and eventually goes out the back end. In the first pilot study to prove the effectiveness of the laser, 16 patients were entered.
According to the company, after 6 treatments every other day, their waist size went from an average of 44.14 to 42.86 in. (loss of 1.28 in), hips from 51.28 to 49.94 in. (loss of 1.34 in.), right thighs from 27.48 to 25.75 in. (loss of 1.73 in.), left thigh from 26.93 to 25.43 in. (loss of 1.50 in.). Please check it out for yourself at the link below.
We are treating qualified patients with BMI from 15 to 30, and who, for the duration of the 2-week treament, are willing to walk 40 minutes per day, increase their daily intake of water, and reduce their daily intake of fat and carbohydrate. Perma Facial Implants
Finally, the safe, definitive solution for permanent tissue augmentation has arrived. Don't get me wrong. I am quite happy with Juvederm for lip augmentation. I am comfortable with it and have had a lot of success with it. Some patients have asked me if a more permanent solution was available. VeraFil saline implants came along and that seemed like a good idea. Problem was I could not guarantee that they will not leak a few years down the road. I am excited about the new FDA-approved Perma Implants. They are super soft and made out of solid silicone elastomer using an injection molding process to produce a naturally contoured implant with a smooth, non-porous surface. The implant cannot rupture or deflate, and may be removed at any time. Come in and feel them!
